My Girl.

My little baby is all grown up! She clicks to 7 years old in about a month! I can’t believe it. Her baby fat is gone and this beautiful girl is shining through. She is talented, smart, hilarious, quirky, goofy, loving, caring, thoughtful, always thinks about others and has the sweetest spirit. She knows she is a daughter of God and she knows He loves her. She is beautiful. She is my only girl. I love her and cherish her.

I couldn’t have asked for better light and the location was just too amazing! I got a little carried away and kept her out past her bedtime… on a school night! Bad mom!

This little gal kept me on my toes! But thanks to her daddy, my stuffed animals, her momma’s snacks and kisses and me hiding in the trees with my camera I was able to capture Rue, just the way she is!

This session was back in December. We had such a blast playing around in Portland, visiting Voodoo Donuts (which was my first time), then heading over to Portland’s Majestic Forest Park. I have had the honor of seeing this little guy grow, and he is turning into such a little heart breaker!! Thanks again Alyssa for inviting me to capture the awesome connection you two share!

For my birthday I flew down to Irvine California to spend the weekend with my best friend. It was amazing! We headed to the beach and I did a little photo session with her and her kids… mini is the key word here. Between my crying baby and her kids and the fact that it was dinner time it was VERY quick, but fun!

I did this session back in December in Portland. They were giving these pictures to their parents for a Christmas gift, so sweet! We also took a lot of shots of Melissa for her model portfolio, loved it! It was raining for most of it, then the sun came out, then the rain started again. By the end it was raining pretty bad and we all rushed to our cars freezing and shivering. It was fun though!

He’s 7 months with 7 teeth! He couldn’t be anymore cuter to me. I love him from his long eyelashes all the way down to his toes! He is my chill baby. Not overly smiley or giggly and he sure has got a temper! The best part is that he loves me. I know he loves me. (and the other best part is he is finally sleeping through the night!)

I had myself a play date with this cutie! We colored, ran around, sang songs, danced, ate yummy snacks, played with her lovey, and sang “head, shoulders, knees and toes”. She tired me out to say the least

Studio Session

I have had my backdrops lying around forever. All I needed was a backdrop stand and my sweet hubby gave that to me for Christmas! I set it up and tried it out. I love it!
