I have spent my life in a ballet studio. Since I was 4 years old I have been looking in a mirror, holding on to a barre, putting my hair in a bun, and working to perfect the art of ballet. I find such strength, discipline, and beauty in ballet dancers. In ballet, as with any art, there is always something to improve and work on. The work never stops. Especually when a perfectionist is involved (me). That is what I loved about it.
This is also why I love Photography. I always see need for improvement. I will never reach perfection. But this also frustrates me at times. But when I get frustrated, I look for inspiration through things I love, like ballet, and shoot away. Beautiful, isn’t it?
